Business Portraits
As a business owner, you want a flattering and honest looking photo of yourself. One that you can be proud of to add to your website, social media account profiles or corporate brochures. After all, there’s nothing worse than having a photo of yourself that you cringe at every time you need to use it. You want a well-shot business portrait showing you in your best light. One that you’ll love to show off whenever you can!
Your prospective clients and customers like to see who they’re doing business with and a professional business portrait can show them who you really are. They’ll feel they know you before they pick up the phone. You want your business portrait to reflect quality.
I have found that most people are camera shy and so I've developed a quick and easy process to capture you at your best, without you having to spend too much time in front of the camera if you don't want to.
My approach isn’t the standard headshot route. I like to spend some time with you and get to know you a little bit, find out abut your business and the customers you are aiming to attract. I’ll try a few different ideas until we find one that looks like you’ve imagined and then we’ll develop this to get the perfect shots for you and your business. It’s a more personal experience than a standard studio type headshot, but it’s a much more relaxed process and lets your true personality shine through.
I prefer to find somewhere outside with good light and natural surroundings. We can look for a location that shows off your business personality – whether that’s urban, natural or attractive, or perhaps your usual working environment.
If you don’t have so much time, or have a larger team and you need portraits for each of them, I offer an alternative. Even if you require a quick headshot session, I don’t use the classic white backdrop. There’s no studio set-up and natural light is used wherever possible.
It won’t interrupt your whole day either. I can take one person at a time away from their work environment for a moment so that they relax more and don’t feel like everyone’s watching them

Business Story Shoots
A picture tells a thousand words and these sessions are to create a story in images to highlight your business at work.
These sessions are ideal for small independent shops, businesses providing a service or businesses that hand make products from the home. This isn’t product photography, but instead combines the business portrait session as well as some photographs showing WHAT you do.
I take a selection of headshots with a simple background or within your working environment, and also take shots of you actually doing your job. For example if you’re creating or making something I take photographs of you doing this in good light and with your products around you. This shows your potential clients/customers what you do and where you work and brings the essence of your business to life.
This type of shoot can work well for a wide range of businesses. To give you some examples, here are some businesses that have booked a business story shoot with me: Architects; Accountants; Counsellor; Reflexologist; Tailor; Florist; Design Agency; Seamstress; Therapist; Personal Trainer; Garden Centre; Training Company; Public Speaker.
The shoot will take on average, about two hours and you will end up with three headshots/portrait photos plus about 30 working shots. You will get access to the client only section of the website to view and choose your selection and I will retouch and edit them as required. Once they are finished, you will be emailed a link to download them and save them.

Corporate Event & Conference Photography
Do you need photos of a corporate event or conference or are you looking for candid photography for an event throughout the day?
I can attend your corporate event and capture the speakers on stage and the mood of the event with my corporate photography package.
I can take shots of the programme, volunteers helping, ticket issuers, people talking and enjoying the event and the action on the main stage.
This candid photography style captures the mood of your event: Attendees laughing, smiling, and showing that they’re all having an amazing time; the interaction between the speakers and the audience; the networking over lunch and coffee; the positive buzz of the event.
If it’s an in-house away day event, you can use the photos to send follow up communication to your company to keep morale high, or remind them of the key messages learnt through the day. Or perhaps you have a teambuilding event and you want to capture what happens – any moments to maintain your team’s high long after the day is over. I can cover all of these types of events.
You will end up with a great selection of photos that you can use in your marketing to promote your corporate event or conference in the future or for press releases.

Family Photography
Family Portraits
I offer family portraits shot in a place that you feel most comfortable. I don’t ask you to come to a studio, I like to take the photos in a place that’s special to you.
I think family photo portraits look the best if they’re natural images in a natural style. Young children don’t want to sit still, they want to run around and be outdoors, so why not let them! Let’s get out in the woods and let them be themselves. No lights in their faces, forced to sit still or forced smiles.
I want to get to know you and your family first. That’s why I do a consultation and get to know you a little bit before the shoot and discuss what it is you want out of the shoot. I can answer any questions like what will happen in the session or what you should wear. Then you’re looking forward to it and know it will be fun. I like to meet the children too if possible so that on the day I can talk about what they like to make them feel at ease, relaxed and happy. If you’ve got any ideas of what you’d like your family’s photos to look like, this is a good time to discuss it. I’ll also bring examples of other shoots I’ve done before for you look through which may provide some inspiration.
My family photo shoots tend to take about two hours, but there’s no rush. Getting the perfect family picture for you is my ultimate aim! I want you to have a relaxed and fun shoot experience.
A couple of weeks after the session, I’ll present the finished images to you at your home. I will then provide all of your fully retouched images around 20-30 photographs on USB along with a choice of finished product including a selection of loose or mounted fine art prints, or a Trio portfolio.
